Spring has sprung at last

Dealing with house showings and open house this weekend so have not been able to concentrate on painting. However, I am pleased to say that the sun is out and I am happy, well kind of, I have just indulged in a whole can of Pringles crisps and eating Oreos, not really caring about myself right now too many other things to think about. I am surprised that I am not the size of a house.

I am off to the library this weekend due to people coming to view the house. What better way than to do something free and get to look at wonderful books. It will keep the kids happy reading and playing with the toys.

I am doing a bit of research on schooling and kids art, I would love to get my kids more involved in what I do but in a fun creative child friendly way. Help them to learn art history and playing with art by using their imagination. I think it is important for their growth and development, plus the government likes to make cost cuts in art education during hard times which I think is an absolute disgrace, particularly in this day and age. Nonetheless is great for us all to do art as a family.

Talking about art education - Sir Ken Robinson is one to do a YouTube search on. He is highly entertaining, a great speaker and makes some very interesting and valid points.
