In my art journal (I like this opposed to sketch book), I stuck magazine clippings onto a page and then painted over it with white acrylic.
Without much thought to what I was going to paint, I delved into my acrylic paints and took colours that I liked. From there, I painted something and it started to look like a face.
I thought there was something missing so I started to add words. I looked at the face and chose words that instantly came to mind.
With a little bit more paint and emphasis this is the final peice.
Creating without thinking too much is wonderful fun.
